South Asia Archive Product Roadmap

South Asia Archive Product Roadmap

South Asia Archive is moving to our award-winning platform and traffic will be redirected on or before June 30, 2022.

Key Platform Features

Immediately, the platform will benefit from:
  • a modern, mobile-responsive platform that works on all browsers;
  • search, page, and image loading that is ten to twenty times faster than before;

  • an advanced search UI that includes NEAR operators and wildcard truncation;

  • a user interface that displays more than 100 languages;

  • additional indexing, both human- and AI-powered; and

  • the ability for users to create lists, share, and upload content.

The migration schedule is as follows:

  • May 20 through June 5, a select group of librarians will be beta testing and providing feedback. Please let us know if you’d like to be part of this program;

  • June 5 through June 30, your institution will be automatically authenticated on the platform and we will share further details about the migration;

  • June 30, we will begin redirecting traffic from the legacy site to our platform.
